Sustainability Fund
Research
The SGA Sustainability Fund is dedicated to supporting interdisciplinary, independent student research within the areas of sustainability at Concordia College. This funding aims to enable students to identify social, economic, and environmental issues and generate sustainable solutions that best address a campus and/or community need. The purpose of each project is to offer a new sustainable practice for consideration by the college through the use of academic research, experimentation, and/or economic analysis, and collaboration with organizations beyond the Concordia College campus. The project culminates with the presentation of findings to campus officials on the President’s Sustainability Council and to peers at the Celebration of Student Scholarship.

Projects and Events
The SGA Sustainability Fund Committee has recognized the need for sustainability-focused projects and events at Concordia College. We welcome all innovative, visionary project and event proposals. Goals of projects may include but are not limited to: education, awareness, or change related to sustainability. Funding may also be granted to assist students hosting events in creating greener, more sustainable events.
Applications for projects and events will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.

Internships
Internship stipends may be granted to individuals participating in an off-campus, unpaid internship directly relating to sustainability. The SGA Sustainability Fund Committee recognizes that sustainability work is not always honored as a top priority, and would like to offer support through a small stipend for your efforts, when appropriate.
